Quotations and selection
Quotations from suppliers are compared side by side. Choosing the supplier is an authorised decision: it is recorded with who decided and why, and only then can a purchase order be raised.

An exception (fewer quotations than the setting asks for) is allowed only with a recorded reason. The number required is a setting:
