Six ways we work with companies
Pick one, or combine them into a programme. Every offering below uses the same course catalog, instructors and assessment records as our public sessions.
Corporate training
Any course in the catalog delivered to your team only: virtual classroom, at your site, or in a training venue.
- Dates set around your shutdown and project calendar
- Examples and exercises drawn from your service conditions
- One invoice, one purchase order
Competency development programs
A sequence of courses and workshops that takes a role from one level to the next, for example designer to layout lead.
- Entry and exit assessment per engineer
- Built from the published learning paths
- Progress visible to the L&D manager throughout
Private ASME training
ASME courses such as B31.3 Process Piping run as a closed session for your engineers, where applicable under authorized arrangements with ASME.
- Official ASME content and ASME-approved instructors
- ASME certificate issued by ASME
- Availability confirmed per course in the proposal
Engineering workshops
Multidisciplinary, project-based workshops where piping, process, civil and mechanical engineers solve one plant problem together.
- Layout and model reviews, stress and support cases
- Works on a sample unit or your own drawings
- Small groups, instructor-led
Skills assessment
A structured test and interview per engineer against the role they hold, so the training budget goes to the real gaps.
- Question banks per discipline and level
- Individual result and team heat map
- Recommended path per person
Learning path design
We map your job ladder to courses, workshops and on-the-job tasks and hand you a path each engineer can follow for the next one to three years.
- Role matrix and prerequisites
- Mix of ASME and MALYOMAR programs, clearly labelled
- Loaded into your corporate portal
How an engagement runs
The same six steps every time, from the first call to the report your management sees.
- Needs analysisRoles, codes, gaps
- ProposalScope, dates, price
- Private batchScheduled for your team
- Cohort trackingAttendance and progress
- AssessmentPer engineer
- ReportResults and next steps
| Step | What happens | Who takes part | What you receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Needs analysis | A call with your engineering and L&D leads. We list roles, headcount, the codes and software in use, and what should be different after training. An optional skills assessment makes this measurable. | Your L&D manager and a discipline lead; a MALYOMAR instructor | A short needs summary you can correct before anything is priced |
| Proposal | We match the needs to courses, paths or a custom workshop, name the instructor, and offer delivery modes and dates. | Your L&D manager and procurement | Written proposal: scope, schedule options, price per seat or per batch, terms |
| Private batch | Once approved, a batch is created for your company only. Engineers are invited by name and receive joining instructions. | Your nominated engineers | Confirmed dates, roster and a portal account for your manager |
| Cohort tracking | Attendance is recorded per session and progress per module. Absences and at-risk learners are flagged while there is still time to act. | Instructor and our operations team | Live cohort view in the corporate portal |
| Assessment | Quizzes, exercises or a workshop deliverable, depending on the course. ASME courses follow ASME's own completion rules. | Each engineer | Individual results; certificates for those who meet the requirements |
| Report | We close with a meeting and a written report: attendance, results, instructor observations and a recommended next step per engineer. | Your L&D manager and sponsors | Cohort report (PDF) and certificate register |
Turnaround times for each step will be published here once the operating team confirms them.
Industries we serve
The catalog is written for plants and projects that live under ASME, API and EN codes. Each industry below links to the academy most teams start with.
Oil and gas
Process piping, plant layout, stress analysis and construction support.
Petrochemical
B31.3 design, flexibility and supports, roles of piping engineers during construction.
Chemical and process
Pressure relief, bolted joints, inspection, repair and alteration of in-service equipment.
Power
B31.1 power piping, pipe stress engineering and resilient supports.
Pipelines
B31.8 gas transmission and distribution, hydrogen piping and pipelines.
Pressure equipment
Section VIII Division 2, bolted flange joints and fitness-for-service.
Industrial construction
Lead engineering, as-built engineering, technical proposals and root cause analysis.
Renewable energy
Wind energy, hydrogen, and energy management for process plants.
What your L&D manager gets
A corporate portal, so nobody has to ask us for a spreadsheet.
- Team and seats
- Assign purchased seats to named engineers, swap a nominee before the start date.
- Progress and skills
- Attendance, module progress and assessment results per engineer and per group.
- Programs
- Your private batches and the learning paths agreed in the proposal.
- Training requests
- Ask for a new batch or a quote without starting a new email thread.
- Invoices
- Every invoice and payment status against the purchase order.
- Certificates
- A register of certificates issued to your team, each one verifiable online.

Most team programmes begin with one of these role paths and are then trimmed or extended.
Delivery modes for teams
| Mode | How it runs | Fits best when |
|---|---|---|
| Virtual classroom | Live sessions with the instructor, recordings and materials in the learner portal | The team is spread across sites or countries |
| In-person at your site | The instructor comes to your office or plant training room | You want examples tied to your own units and drawings |
| Workshop | Small-group, project-based sessions with a deliverable at the end | Several disciplines need to practise working together |
| Blended programme | Self-paced modules first, then live sessions and a workshop | Engineers cannot leave work for a full week |
Tell us about the team
Team size, roles, the codes you work to and when you need it done. We reply with a written proposal, not a brochure.
