AI overview
Seven AI capabilities sit inside the modules staff already use. Each one reads from the central hub, proposes work, and waits for a named person before anything is sent or published. This revision adds a capability register for the new modules. Everything is simulated in the prototype.

How to read this page. AI is a layer, not a module. The table shows where each capability appears in the back office, how much it is used, and the approval rule that applies. Switching a capability off here removes its buttons and suggestions from every module at once.
Capabilities
Sample usage data| Capability | Where it lives | Status | Used, 30 days | Accepted | Human-approval rule | On |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lead-capture chat assistant Answers visitors, qualifies, books a call | Public website, CRM leads | Live | 312 chats 64 leads created | 82% handed off cleanly | Never quotes a discount or confirms a seat. Sales replies to every captured lead; transcripts sampled weekly. | |
| Content drafting Course copy, emails, proposals, quiz items | Course editor, Campaigns, Proposals, Quizzes | Live | 146 drafts 38 published | 64% approved after edits | Every draft needs an approver from the owning team. ASME program text is locked and cannot be drafted or rewritten. | |
| Course recommendation engine Next course by role, path and history | Learning paths, Learner record, Learner portal, Catalog | Live | 418 shown 57 enrolments followed | 14% click-to-enrol | Suggests only courses on a path approved by the academic lead. Prerequisites are rules, not predictions. | |
| Lead scoring and prioritisation 0 to 100 score with reasons | Leads, Pipeline, Segments | Live | 203 leads scored 41 scored 70 or above | 78% agreement with sales | The score orders the list. It never disqualifies, assigns or closes a lead; a salesperson does. | |
| Support assistant Suggested replies from help articles | Tickets, Help articles, Learner help | Pilot | 97 replies suggested 31 answered in portal | 69% sent as drafted | Agent approves each ticket reply. Refunds, exam results, certificates and complaints always go to a person. | |
| Reporting insights Plain-language notes on the numbers | Command center, Dashboards, Report builder, Finance | Pilot | 58 insights 23 opened by staff | 40% marked useful | Read-only. Every figure links to the report it came from. No insight is emailed outside the company. | |
| Automation of repetitive admin tasks Trigger, condition, action rules | Automations, Tasks and approvals, Batches, Invoices | Live | 50 rule runs 14 rules active | 94% ran without a fix | Money movements, certificates and messages to clients wait in the approval inbox unless the rule is marked safe to run alone. |
Marketing personalisation (tailored messages and offers) uses the lead score and the recommendation engine through segments and nurture journeys; it is not a separate capability.
Capability register, revision 5 October 2026
| Module | What it drafts or suggests | Data it reads | What it must not do | Who decides | Demonstrated on | Status |
|---|
In every row the assistant drafts and recommends, and a named role decides. Approver text is read from the central approval policy, which is provisional. Each demonstration shows its inputs, assumptions, missing information and expected effect.
Guardrails
ASME content is never AI-rewritten. Titles, descriptions, outlines, learning objectives and assessment items of ASME authorized programs come from ASME and are stored read-only. The drafting tools refuse these fields.
Human review before anything is sent or published. AI output is saved as a draft with the author shown as "AI draft". Publishing or sending requires a named approver, recorded in the audit log.
Instructors are people. No assistant presents itself as an instructor or answers code-interpretation questions. Those go to the course instructor.
